Holiday Hats
"On Christmas Eve, our whole family - aunts, uncles, cousins, - got together. My father has always loved wacky hats, and the family would look forward to Christmas every year to see what kind of weird hat he would have on that night. One year, he suggested that everyone wear a wacky hat to Christmas dinner. Everyone took it very seriously, shopping around, looking for the most unusual hat. Then, when everybody showed up, my Dad had everybody throw their hats into a pile in the middle of the floor, and we had a gift auction with the hats.
